It was so extremely windy it was blowing the pretty hard. We embraced it. Honestly, I love the movement it created in the images, and I could get the golden light in the mom’s hair.
Family pictures are a luxury and an investment, and the fear of getting pictures we don’t want can cause some stress if it feels like no one in your family is on board. I get it!
Not only do I think the baby’s comfort and needs come before the picture, but when we stopped to feed or change or just sooth, it makes room to capture genuine moments of connection and bonding. That’s what I’m after. Those ordinary people and their extraordinary love!
The hours after having a baby are so raw. Between healing and bonding and little check ups on baby it can be a bit of a whirlwind, and so unreal that they are here. Time is fleeting and needs to be documented.
